Premier Hedstrom Files are used for more rapid enlargement of root canals. Note that the cutting edges are inclined backwards. The insertion is made easily since there is no cutting taking place on the insertion stroke. When the instrument is withdrawn, cutting takes place and debris is carried away from the apex. Use with an up-and-down motion.

ISO-Coded
Premier’s tactile plastic handles, on all Reamers, K-Files and Hedstrom Files, have the ISO symbols and number of the instrument clearly and indelibly marked on the color-coded handle. The dentist or the assistant can easily locate the proper instrument in any set-up.
