1978

Establishment

Our corporate office was founded in 1978 by Carol and Gus Markiet out of their home in Pomona, New York. They are well respected in the dental industry, delivering what they promise: honesty, trust, and reliability.

1994

New Direction

Carol and Gus Markiet expand the family business to include Bryan, Michelle & Gavin. Our focus then changed from exporting dental supplies to selling domestically across the United States and Canada.

2004

Collaboration With the Silmet Brand

Cargus partners up with one of the leading manufacturers of certified ADA amalgam alloys - Silmet and became an exclusive distributor. This partnership brought product variety to the American market, as well as, allowing our clients to buy amazing quality products at better prices.

2006

Relocation

We relocated to Congers,New York to a 15,000 square foot facility to accommodate our fast-growing dental supply company. It is our values, instilled in us by our parents 38 years ago - honesty, trust, and reliability that have kept on growing our customer base and their loyalty.

2008

Launched the MARK3 Line

Cargus uses its 30 years of experience in the dental industry to launch the MARK3 brand of products. Our MARK3 brand offers dealers alternatives to expensive name brands products and gives dealers immediate access to a wide variety of products that are readily available. At a time when large manufacturers became exclusive, Cargus was there to support all dealers across US and Canada.

2015

Marketing Program Release

We started helping our dealers by providing free marketing material to help support their sales efforts. The development of in-house graphic design and marketing departments enables us to provide custom catalogs, flyers and samples to our loyal customers.

2018

Drop shipping and Custom Skid Services

As we grew, our team started creating tailored services based on popular demand. In 2018 Cargus launched a Drop-ship service, which allowed our customers to focus on great service without worrying about buying products and risking overstock until they are actually sold. In the same year we identified the need for custom made pallets so customers can combine many products into one shipment to save on freight costs.

Now

Today in Dentistry

Cargus International launches a state of the art website that gives customers access to all the services we have developed. Customers can now place their wholesale orders online, see real time inventory and pricing and have access to our drop shipping services. Dealers will also be able to see any new products we have launched and order custom marketing material for MARK3, Silmet and Demetech products.
